TPT: where educators thrive
Amidst ed-tech saturation and brands’ expansion, TPT required a rebrand to align with its evolving identity and improve communication of its story, offerings, and value.
Greenhouse, renowned among tech firms and startups, thrived with its existing brand. Yet, aspiring for global and enterprise expansion demanded a new, ambitious identity.
Role: Lead Brand Designer
More on my role
As Lead Designer, I was a part of the concepting, execution, and systemization of designs across all channels. In addition to creating materials for the launch campaign and beyond, I led the efforts of creating TPT's style guide, the blog's design announcement, digital component libraries for internal and external vendors, and more.
Below is a sampling of the in-product application of TPT's rebranded system. These were developed utilizing on-brand, custom photography of resources and the TPT community, and in collaboration with product design.
Below is a sampling of social posts, in-product visual design, growth marketing modules, and emails I designed for various initiatives, updates, and campaigns while implementing the rebrand.
Each year for TPT's annual seller conference, TPT Forward, the design team would formulate a concept and visual system to unify and integrate the various tactics. I led the design and execution of our first TPT Forward event following the rebrand.
Leveraging my expertise in animation and drawing inspiration from the rebrand's gestural scribble, I illustrated and designed a vibrant, pattern-rich concept that thoroughly delighted TPT's sellers.
The rebrand also presented the opportunity to rethink how we designed reports. For the first State of Education report and campaign, I led the development of a redesigned template and system to inform future iterations.
Last but not least, TPT's employer brand also received an update. In addition to collaborating to provide direction on in-office materials, I designed and built a landing page in partnership with our PeopleOps team, to help inspire and inform potential TPTers.
